We are a leading centre of research and teaching in theoretical and applied psychology. All of our students also conduct research. Undergraduates and postgraduates are able to work on staff research via experience schemes, and all carry out their own research

In addition to Student Voice Forums, the School now runs school-wide surveys and stage-specific Town Halls with the Director of Studies to ensure you have the right opportunities to feedback on your course, and to update you on how your feedback has been acted on.
A new core module, Using Practical Psychology (6005), develops professional and employability knowledge and skills to support your future career.
This includes improved organisation of Moodle pages to help you find resources easily, and clearer marking criteria with clearer assessment briefs and examples.
We now plan at least one session per module focused on preparing for assessments, to ensure that you have the support you need to feel prepared and best demonstrate your learning.
