In the School of Social Sciences, we are dedicated to understanding how society works, but also to making it better. Our mission is to explore and tackle critical social challenges, and to contribute to a more just and sustainable world.
Our world-leading research addresses society’s most pressing issues, from health to crime prevention to poverty and inequality. Through our strong relationships with policymakers and third-sector organisations, we turn our research into action, forging meaningful change both locally and nationally.
