NEW PAYMENT PLAN PORTAL COMING SEPTEMBER 2026
Instalment plans for Tuition and Accommodation Fees are not yet available to set up for 2026/27 as we are busy implementing a new online payment plan portal for students to be able to see and manage their finance accounts in real-time. Instalment plans will be available in early September 2026. Further information to follow.
Currently through the Payment Plan Portal, you can settle your Tuition and Accommodation fees in full or make an initial payment using a debit or credit card. You can also pay using the bank transfer option provided by our service partner Flywire.
Canterbury accommodation fees
If you're a student living in university accommodation at Canterbury campus you can pay in three ways:
Option 1: Pay the whole year in full
Payment can be made in full at the start of each academic year.
Option 2: Pay each termly fee
Accommodation fees may be paid in instalments at the beginning of each term. Payment in full for each term is due by the first day of each term.

Option 3: Spread the cost
To help with budgeting we are pleased to now offer instalment plans to spread the cost of Accommodation fees more evenly across the terms or across a number of months. A bank card will need to be registered to make use of these options.
- Set up an Automatic Payment Instalment Plan on Payment Portal.
- If the full year amount entered does not match your agreement, or you miss a payment, the payment plan may be cancelled at a later date and the outstanding amount will be due immediately.
- If only staying on campus for one term this will need to be paid in full. A payment plan should not be set up online.
Medway accommodation fees
Pier Quays accommodation is provided by Unite Students for the University, so your contract is with Unite Students. All accommodation payments should be made to Pier Quays directly and not the University.
Unite will tell you how you need to pay. You can go to the reception in Pier Quays to ask any queries about your accommodation fees.
