If you have exams at Kent, these pages have everything you need from what to expect, to support and how to prepare.
Students who may need exams adjustments for medical or mental health reasons should contact the Student Support and Wellbeing team as soon as possible. There are termly deadlines to apply for adjustments which you can see on the Key Dates timeline here.
If you need to apply for exam adjustments for religious reasons you need to complete a Religious Observations form by the deadline of 31 October 2025.
Exams are part of our new assessment weeks. For more support and information on assessments, such as online quizzes and coursework, please contact your School or Student Administration.
We've listened to your feedback and assessments will be done differently for 2025/26. Assessments will be at the end of each term while course content is fresh in your mind, meaning you get more feedback as you go. This is part of wider changes to our academic year and module structure which will help make it easier for you to plan work, life and study.

You can apply for adjusted exam arrangements using these links for religious observance or adjust your ILP, please be aware of the deadlines to apply.

This is when you retake one or more assessments or redo coursework.
There is a fee to resit or resubmit. If you cannot pay this fee due to financial hardship, please get in touch so we can discuss your options and financial support available.
This is when you ask the exam board to reconsider their decision. To appeal, you need to get in touch with your School. The Advice Service | Kent Students’ Union can support you with appeals.
This is when you redo the whole module or equivalent number of credits in the next academic year.
As long as the module isn’t compulsory, you could choose another module.
You would need to attend all lectures and seminars, and follow the full assessment requirements.
