Information for Medway Students
EmpFest, the employability festival run by the Careers and Employability Service, is open to all University of Kent Students at all stages of their degree at all levels including Undergraduate, Postgraduate Taught and Postgraduate Research.
Whilst the majority of events will take place on the main campus at Canterbury, there will also be some events in person at the Medway campus (which will be clearly indicated on the programme) and, of course, online events.
Medway students can attend all events on the programme, including those in Canterbury. We have placed travel information below and wherever possible, in person events will be recorded and shared on our moodle page DP4450: Careers & Employability Service as soon as we can after the event.
We've put this page together for you so you can find out more about the events and how to get involved.
The Canterbury Campus is located 20 minutes outside of Canterbury City Centre, you can find it on a map here.
There is a shuttle service which runs from our Medway campus to the Canterbury Campus for students and staff. You can find out more about this service using the link below.
If you don't fancy the shuttle there are other ways to get to the campus. See more about this below.
Is this your first trip to the Canterbury Campus? Do you have accessible requirements?
The campus map contains some information about the areas you may encounter when visiting Canterbury. You can search for buildings and other locations to read information on access.
Still have a question about EmpFest's accessibility, contact the career team at careerhelp@kent.ac.uk
