Help end domestic abuse – join the 16 Days of Activism

UN Day to Eliminate Violence Against Women

Every year, the global campaign to end violence against women and girls (VAWG) takes place from 25 November to 10 December. Starting on the UN Day to Eliminate Violence Against Women and ending on the UN International Day of Human Rights, this is a vital moment to show your commitment and support.

With a 37% rise in VAWG over the past five years, there has never been a more important time to act.

University of Kent and Kent Students’ Union in Partnership

We are proud to join forces to raise awareness and take meaningful steps toward ending domestic abuse. Together, we can create safer communities and empower individuals to speak out. If you haven’t already, complete and tell your friends about the Consent training on Moodle – it only takes 20 minutes but goes a long way in creating a culture of consent at the University of Kent.

You can also take part in the Kent and Medway 16 Days of Activism #KnowSeeSpeakOut Campaign by signing up for the free 16 Days of Activism training webinars – 6 steps to ending domestic abuse.
