Student Visa Responsibilities

During your Year in Industry or Year in Professional Practice, as an international student we will continue to sponsor your visa. It is extremely important that you comply with the conditions associated with student visa sponsorship.

Keeping in touch

During your Year in Industry or Year in Professional Practice, you must stay in regular contact with us, provide all the required paperwork, keep us informed of any changes to your contact details and respond to all requests promptly. We will also be in contact with yourself and your line manager monthly, to monitor your attendance at your workplace.

Visa Advice

If you are thinking about adding a Year in Industry or Year in Professional Practice to your degree, you will need to speak with the Visa team about the effects this will have on your current Visa and what actions you need to take.
