Empower is open to students from underrepresented and marginalised groups* (most commonly those who were in receipt of free school meals, or are first in their family to attend university, and disabled students).

Eligible students can apply for up to £200 to fund a skills development course, travel costs for attending an interview or assessment centre, or to support them with volunteering work. Book an Empower appointment to find out more.

Supporting students with up to £150 towards the cost of travel or accommodation for unpaid work experience, travel to an interview, employment-related activities, or training.
