Portable DVD / Blu-Ray player kits are available to borrow for up to 72 hours to view films from the Templeman Library Film Collection, located on the Ground Floor in Block B.

You can borrow
Templeman Library DVD / Blu-ray player kits for up to 72 hours from the Welcome
Desk in the Templeman Library. You'll need your KentOne card.

Check your kit before use
Please carry
out your own visual inspection of the Portable DVD / Blu-Ray player kit before
you plug it in / use it.
Check
for any visual defects that could compromise the safety of the appliance.
Check the equipment's exterior casing for any signs of damage, such
as cracks / loose parts.
Check
the HDMI cable for any signs of fraying, cuts, or damage.
Check
the plug or connector for any damage, including cracks or bent pins.
If you find any
signs of damage or faults, DO NOT use the equipment. Please
return the kit to the Welcome Desk and report the faulty item(s).
How to use
Use
the cable to connect the HDMI port on the player to the HDMI port on an HDMI
compatible TV or monitor.
Set
the TV's input source to HDMI. You should be all set!
Return your kit
You need to return the DVD / Blu-Ray
player kit at the
end of the 72 hour loan period to the Welcome Desk in the Templeman
Library.
Conditions of use
Please follow
our DVD / Blu-Ray player conditions of use and abide by the Library
and IT regulations when using them.
If you don’t return the DVD / Blu-Ray
player kit at the end of the 72 hour loan period, there won’t be a fine –
but you won’t be able to borrow any other items until you do!
We will charge you the replacement
cost of the DVD / Blu-Ray player and cable if it is lost, damaged or not
returned.
