I chose to become an RLA because of the strong sense of community it provides. Throughout my time at Kent, the activities and events offered by ResLife played a crucial role in helping me adjust to university life.

I aspire to be an RLA to help new students transition to university smoothly and aim to provide the same level of support that I received during my time here. I'm looking forward to experiencing new aspects of university life and meeting new people.

Hi, I'm Aashvi Shah (she/her), currently in my second year at Kent. As an international student originally from Kenya, I am passionate about fostering a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive community within the University.

I wanted to be a ResLife Ambassador to help create a welcoming and supportive community for all residents. I'm passionate about fostering connections and ensuring everyone has a positive and enriching university experience.

Heading up the team, Ewen is always working hard behind the scenes to find new activities and coordinate support for residents. When he's not managing the ResLife Team, Ewen is often found on the farm or spoiling Tara and Beatrice with treats.
