Brendan Papp

Congratulations to Brendan, captain of the Volleyball team at Medway, who recently won the ‘Outstanding Contribution to Sport’ award as well as ‘Best Team’ and ‘Best Society’ for Volleyball at the Medway Activity Awards!

Toyin Sanyaolu

Toyin is the Founder and CEO of The Wonder Lab Project, providing inspiring STEM activities for children aged 5 - 10 at schools in Medway. These activities are centred around helping children to focus, enhancing creativity and developing critical thinking skills, all through a STEM lens.

Aashvi Shah

Aashvi, through her many co-curricular roles including REMP Network Chair and President of the Geography Society, organises events and initiatives to ensure a welcoming and sustainable campus for all.

Sid Connor

Sid has made a positive impact on our LGBTQ+ community by being involved in the LGBTQIA+ Student Voices project, chairing the LGBTQ+ Student Network and helping with projects to make our campuses more inclusive.

Heather Moss

Music Performance Scholar Heather is a unique student, balancing her studies with performing and teaching folk music, as well as excelling in hockey and other sports. A perhaps unlikely pairing of passions, but she makes it work harmoniously!

Gabby Rolls

As Accessibility Network Chair, Gabby has learned to advocate for herself and others, helping change policy to improve the way access problems are reported and managed across campus.

Airport Helper Heroes

Thank you to our wonderful student helpers who gave up their time over Arrivals Weekend so they could welcome our new international students at Gatwick and Heathrow airports.

Medway Music Society

The Medway Music Society won Society of the Year at the 2024 Medway Activities Awards. They won for transforming the society, and running successful events that would often get up to 70 students attending.
