Inspiring Women Week, in support of International Women’s Day, spotlights the experience of women across a variety of industries. Guest speakers will be sharing career journeys, advice and insider insights to inspire and empower students to confidently navigate the workplace and pursue their career goals.

Themed weeks are a good way to gain Employability Points. Find out more about Employability Points. 

Events can be booked via the Uni Kent Careers Hub. All students of any gender are very welcome to attend Inspiring Women Week events.

Our specific events are run a few times throughout each term, we do however run a general careers and employability events programme which includes topics such as: 

  • CVs & Cover Letters 
  • Making Applications 
  • Interview Preparation Skills 
  • Considering Further Study 
  • How to get started with LinkedIn 
  • Finding a part time job while you study
  • Finding a graduate job 

All of these events can be found in our main events calendar which is linked below. These events are open to all current University of Kent students and graduates of up to three years after study is completed.
